Running errands in an outfit from Brooks spring collection.
Early mornings in Pike Place Market are my favorite. Vendors are preparing their stands for the rush of tourists and locals who’ll spend their day shopping and looking at all the beautiful things. Buskers are tuning their guitars and setting up their pianos to play music on different street corners of the market, and if you walk near one of the bakeries you can enjoy the sweet smell of pastries just coming out of the oven. There are so many colors in the market too, from fruit to flowers to seafood, there is always such a stunning variety of color no matter where you look. I read somewhere that around 10 million people visit Pike Place every year. Whoa!

This particular Saturday morning in the market I met up with my friend and photographer, Jeff to shoot this outfit from Brooks new spring collection. It’s the perfect outfit to run errands in or lounge around in all day long. I will admit, since getting this outfit I’ve worn it a ton! We grabbed coffees from Storyville and just started exploring. Walking around in the morning is awesome because it’s kind of the calm before the storm, there aren’t a lot of people out and about yet and the sidewalks aren’t crowded.
Frank’s Produce is my fruit and veggie vendor in the market, all the people who work there are super friendly and always recommending me recipes for different types of veggies I pick up. They know my sister and I by name because we’ve been shopping for produce there, gosh like around 3+ years.
These shoes are so comfortable, it’s like walking on clouds. I also love the pop of pink! Pink is my favorite color.
I’ve shared a few other pieces from Brooks that I’m loving right now below. Happy Saturday!

Your pictures from the day at the market are amazing. How did you manage to not get all the people in your photo? Also, what’s your favorite stand / shop in the market?
