Wearing bright colors, walking around Seattle.

When I first saw this dress I was drawn to the pretty off the shoulder detail and the little pom poms that it featured. I also liked that it was black, one can never have too many little black dresses in my opinion. During the hot summer months it’s nice to wear dresses that are lightweight and comfortable, this one totally fits that bill. I’ve dressed it up and down for special dinners and lazy afternoons walking around Seattle. This time around to make it pop, I paired the dress with bright colors.

This dress was a purchase from Amazon (the dress is on sale right now too). In the last couple of years I’ve really enjoyed shopping on Amazon. Having Prime is awesome because most things I order come to me within a couple days. I even have the Amazon app on my phone, it helps make shopping even easier! This isn’t a sponsored post for Amazon, I just really truly love their online shopping experience and how easy they make it to get the shoes, clothes and accessories I want almost right away. I don’t know if it’s just me in that as I get older (I’m not saying I’m old just getting older) the idea of dealing with crowds of people in stores is less and less appealing. I would much rather shop from the comfort of my bed or couch and have what I need delivered right to me. I’ve been meaning to talk about Amazon on my blog for a while, so here I am finally getting around to it.

Dress: Glamorous via Amazon (on sale!) // Clutch: Nordstrom (similar) // Necklace: BaubleBar // Sandals: Rebecca Minkoff (pro tip if you sign up for her mailing list you can score these at 15% off) // Sunglasses: Ray Ban // Lipstick: Dolce Gabbana Fuchsia // Nails: Dolce Gabbana Honey // Rings: Gorjana and Cartier

This clutch also caught my eye, when I saw it I immediately thought of Mexico. The bright colors in all the tassels probably had something to do with that. It’s a pretty piece I know I’ll get to use all year round.

The necklace, let me tell you about this necklace. It’s my new favorite and I’ve worn it a lot over the last few weeks. It’s the perfect accessory to inject some fun and color into whatever I wear. I got it from BaubleBar, another favorite shopping website of mine.

I did a little bit of quick research and this dress is also on sale on Nasty Gal’s website. And don’t forget it’s also on sale on Amazon as well.
