Happy Friday! I’m headed to Bend, OR this weekend to hang with my family and run my fifth half marathon! I’m always a bit nervous the couple days before race day, but am definitely looking forward to another exciting challenge. The best part about running a half is that you burn so many calories you can pretty much eat anything you want as soon as it’s over. Count on me Instagram-ming pictures of a yummy brunch on Sunday afternoon.
Today’s outfit is inspired by my younger sister, Katia. My personal style is pretty classic, Katia’s definitely is too but she finds fun ways to be creative with her outfits and jewelry. Basically I look to her for a lot of inspiration on accessories and colors I can add to my outfits to make them pop. Take the Baublebar earrings I’m wearing, I don’t think I would have picked them up on my own but after seeing Katia rock similar earrings, I had to get a pair for myself. The dress is from Nordstrom and is incredibly comfortable (also Katia got this first, I loved it so had to copy), it was perfect to wear on a sunny afternoon walk and I plan to dress it up with heels and a leather jacket for a night out next week. Grey is one of my favorite shades right now, it’s easy to mix and match with so many colors, I guess you could say it’s like a neutral to me. I even have a board devoted to grey on Pinterest!
