Classic Blue

Classic blue is a color included in Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for 2015.

A color that inspires calm, confidence and harmony, it was the color that inspired me to put together this outfit. Porch recently approached me to participate in a Pantone Style Challenge where I’d take a Porch home photo and a color from Pantone’s Spring 2015 Color Palette to create an outfit that expressed my personal style. Below is the Porch home photo I selected.

I had a lot of fun shooting these pictures on the waterfront in Seattle, the dress is one I found in the Savvy department at Nordstrom, it paired perfectly with the Rebecca Minkoff bag my sister got me for Christmas. I can’t seem to find it on Nordstrom’s website anymore, but I did find this option that’s very similar.

This photo just might be my most favorite. I love how the blue pops with the pattern of the dress in the background, it also puts emphasis on my midi rings which I wear almost every day.
