Starbucks has been a big part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. It was the place my mom would take me when I was little for hot chocolates and it was the place she took me to sit and learn to write handwritten thank you notes. I’ve also been a Gold Card holder since 2011, crazy how time flies!
Starbucks Veranda Blend, Starbucks Blonde-roasted coffees have a shorter roast time, lighter body and mellow flavors
My very first coffee drink at Starbucks was a double tall vanilla latte, those were the drinks my mom always ordered, I wanted to be just like her so naturally her drink was my favorite too. To this day, a vanilla latte is typically what I order. When I’m at home though I love brewing and enjoying Starbucks Coffee on my own. Some may think it’s crazy but I go to sleep at night excited to wake up in the morning to make my coffee. This year I am excited to share that I am a part of a community of Starbucks Coffee bloggers, though I know a fairly decent amount about coffee, I’m excited to start to learn more thanks to Starbucks.
To get started Starbucks sent me a delicious welcome kit that included three blends of their coffee, a Starbucks Coffee Passport, a pour-over brewer and a to go mug that’s part of the Starbucks Dot Collection.

Starbucks Caffe Verona, Starbucks Darker-roasted coffees feature a fuller and robust, bold flavors
The coffee came in whole beans so I popped over to Starbucks to get the beans ground. I really enjoyed using the pour-over brewer, I typically have 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning so using this to brew up my coffee was quick and easy.
While I love to drink coffee at home, it’s not always something I’m able to do. There are plenty of days where I have early meetings and errands to run so I need to take my coffee with me on the go. Thankfully, Starbucks has beautiful to go mugs that make this possible!
