Remember a while back when I wrote a blog post about how I was searching for the perfect bridesmaids dress? Well, that dress was for this wedding (Nicole and Micah’s) that I was searching for. Nicole let each of us pick out own bridesmaids dresses as long as they were black. I loved this idea because it allowed for each of us to express our own personal style. As you scroll down and see our photos together I think you’ll agree that we’re a pretty looking bunch of bridesmaids.
I’m thrilled to share these pictures with you, they’re of my best friend Nicole’s wedding to a wonderful man named Micah. Nicole and Micah got married in downtown Seattle at the end of June, the day couldn’t have been more perfect as it was filled with so much joy and love. All of these pictures were taken by Bethany Small Photography.
Nicole ordered fresh flowers from Pike Place Market for all the tables, decorations, the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets.
Hanna Mazur brought her glam squad to do our makeup and hair for the wedding. I love these pictures of Nicole, she looks so serene. Her attitude throughout the whole day was awesome, we all had fun listening to Beyonce together, eating Goldfish crackers and drinking mimosas.
Nicole’s dress was exquisite, it was flattering in every way possible with a lovely sweetheart neckline and intricate beading.
Ok, now these are really my favorite- first looks.
Perfection right? Now onto the bridal party pictures!
Our bouquets from Pike Place Market turned out beautifully! They smelled amazing and were filled with peonies (my favorite flower).
Nicole and I.
Seriously though how incredible is this bouquet?
A couple photos of me, I loved the way my hair turned out, I had some of it braided around the top of my head and had the rest pulled back into a bun (I Instagrammed a picture of the back of my hair that you can see here). My dress is from Rent the Runway and my shoes are Jessica Simpson from Nordstrom (they’re on sale!).
I thought this was a swoon-worthy photo. Something about black and white makes it very romantic.
The ceremony where they exchanged vows, I cried, they kissed and were married.
