This last weekend was a big one for my family and I. My baby sister, Katia graduated from nursing school! I cried a lot of happy tears during her graduation ceremonies, I really didn’t think I would get so emotional but as soon as Katia graced the stage I burst into tears of happiness and pride. Her four years at school seemed to fly by faster than me being able to make up a cup of coffee, whoa, and I couldn’t feel more joy and excitement for her going into the next chapter of her life.

The pictures below I wanted to share because I love the dresses that Katia and I wore to her pinning ceremony. Katia is wearing a beautiful Diane von Furstenberg dress with Via Spiga heels, and I’m wearing a ruffled Ella Moss dress that I found at Nordstrom Rack, with my new pair of Christian Louboutin De Bout heels that I splurged on for my birthday. It’s hard to see but Katia’s bag but she’s wearing a Rebecca Minkoff and mine is Ralph Lauren. Our dad captured these fun photos of us leaving her pinning ceremony.

Katia is my sister, best friend, and fellow fashion and beauty lover, for Katia’s pinning ceremony we both opted to wear pink lipstick. I’m wearing Dolce & Gabbana’s Shine Lipstick in Soiree and Katia is wearing Yves Saint Laurent ‘Rouge Volupté’ Lipstick #32. We’re also wearing the same Tiffany knot pendant necklace, perfect for everyday!
