Block off your calendars right now and save the date for Friday February 28, 2014. The SJP Collection by Sarah Jessica Parker is launching exclusively at select Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com (12am PST online) (here’s also where you can insert your happy dance). The SJP Collection consists of shoes crafted by artisans in Italy, handbags and a “Manhattan” trench coat. Every piece within the collection is a reflection on SJP’s personal looks and feminine style. The shoe prices range from $195 to just under $500, handbags will range in price from $245 to $375 and the “Manhattan” trench available in natural and navy retails for $495.
It felt quite fitting to begin working on this post about the new collection while watching SJP as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. I think we can all agree that a collection like this has been a long time coming. Sarah Jessica Parker is absolutely someone I look up to for fashion and style inspiration, it makes total sense to finally be able to shop items that were designed by the icon herself. Browsing photos of the shoes makes my heart start skipping beats and feel all pretty and sparkly because in my head I’m picturing the limitless possibilities of each and every one of these shoes. From date night to girls night we’ll all get to channel our inner Carrie Bradshaw and take on the world.
Sarah Jessica Parker will be making a few personal appearances to present her new line. Beginning in New York and going around the US, she will be making a stop here in Seattle on Wednesday March 5 to present the new line herself. You can get all the details on the collection and locations of her personal appearances at SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker.
Perhaps the most coveted shoe of the whole collection- this purple beauty is Carrie.
If you really want to be on top of your game you can sign up for email alerts here. Now I just have to decide, will I stay up really late on Thursday night the 27th until midnight to shop online, or will I get up first thing Friday morning and be at Nordstrom as soon as they open? Or you know, maybe I’ll do both? A collection like this isn’t something I will miss.
