I woke up Sunday morning not knowing that later I’d be at a Pumpkin patch getting to pick out a pumpkin to bring home. To some dressing up for a pumpkin patch might sound silly, but in my opinion it’s the perfect opportunity to bust out my Hunter boots, some kind of cute jacket and wear my favorite sunglasses. Pumpkin patches can be a good photo opp spot after all, right? I didn’t put any make up on Sunday morning, let’s be real here, Sundays for me are typically spent sleeping in, staying in my sweats, watching football and or just relaxing at home. Upon a wonderful surprise arrival at the pumpkin patch I was glad I had handy my Michael Kors down jacket and favorite pair of aviator sunglasses to hide my naked face behind. 

I’m inspired by fall and a sucker for doing everything you can to be festive for the season. This includes hitting up a pumpkin patch before Halloween. My childhood was filled with yearly visits to the pumpkin patch so it’s fun to continue the tradition now that I’m an adult. There’s just something nostalgic and sweet about grabbing a warm coffee at Starbucks, bundling up in a down jacket and walking around a pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin.
