So New York, I kind of love you…
It’s late Sunday night and I’m finally able to breathe, catch up on email and go through all of the pictures I have on my camera. Sitting in pajamas on a cozy couch never felt better. If you’ve been following me on Twitter or Instagram you’ll probably have noticed that I’ve been posting a little more than usual. Being in New York no matter the time of year is always a thrill, the noise, the construction, the subway (which PS I got stuck in underground for a bit the other day, that was a little scary), the food and the people are all enchanting in their own unique way. Getting to be in New York during Fashion Week is first and foremost busy! Busy in that you’re running from Lincoln Center to a restaurant across town for dinner and if you’re like me you’re switching between flats and heels during transit. Uber and the subway have been helpful in getting me around with minimal walking and running down New York’s city blocks (although I can’t confirm or deny that I’ve done my fair share of running er speed walking on this trip).
Another highlight of being here has been exploring more of the city and getting to catch up with new and old friends.

I’m working on a series of posts I’ll be sharing throughout this upcoming week about my time in the city. In the mean time I wanted to share a few pictures (ok maybe a couple more than that) of some of the things I’ve been up to.
Snapping pictures and waiting for the subway
Nordstrom printed skirt (similar and on sale here) // Target studded boots
Enjoying a cocktail at Revel in the Meatpacking District and catching some of the US Open
Eating brunch in the garden at The Park in the Meatpacking District
Enjoying my lighter locks (I got a balayage)

My visit to the Big Apple is coming to an end as I’m flying home to Seattle tomorrow. It’s been another really awesome and incredibly inspiring trip!
