You may have seen on my Instagram and Twitter a couple photos and tweets about something I was doing with Birchbox and Ann Taylor earlier this week. I’m excited that now I can tell you what it was all about! I spent time with a few incredibly talented people at Ann Taylor in Bellevue to talk about fall beauty and fashion trends. I also put together a weekend casual look from Ann Taylor’s latest fall collection and had my makeup done with goodies from Birchbox to compliment the look. Weekend casual for me meant comfortable pants, a printed top and a sweater to finish, it’s the perfect outfit for an afternoon of wine tasting and then an exciting dinner out with friends. My makeup was kept simple with wavy hair, some mascara and dewy skin.

Shopping Ann Taylor’s latest fall collection in their Bellevue Store, picking out some of my favorite pieces. The collection is filled with playful prints, bold colors and incredible shoes (which BTW Vince Camuto is now designing their shoes).
I really loved the elegant quilted leather detail in these pumps (PS you can score them now for 40% off).
These booties immediately caught my eye when I saw them in the store, you better believe I’ll be wearing them all fall long.

Wish I could be there, but I will be in New York! Have fun! I love peep toe booties but haven’t been able to bring myself to get them as I like my toes warm and dry in the fall and winter – maybe in Southern California! : )
