First off I’m really jazzed about this blog post because I get to gift someone an entire summer outfit from UNIONBAY– this will include a top of your choosing, a pair of bottoms AND shoes.
Now, more about these outfits and what I did over the weekend. I left the city (Seattle) and went to an island about two hours north called Whidbey Island. On that island is a small and charming little town called Coupeville; where the air is fresh with the soft hint of sea salt and vibrantly colored flowers decorate the town’s main street. Living in the middle of a city is great, there’s always something to do, a new restaurant to check out, a park to walk around, stores to shop at and so on- but as much as I LOVE being in the middle of everything getting away for a couple days to somewhere that’s quiet is a welcome treat.
UNIONBAY outfitted me for the weekend in some perfect summer pieces from their latest summer collection. I picked out all of these pieces myself, I had the chance to stop into their headquarters here in Seattle before my weekend trip. They’re one of the world’s top leading apparel brands that’s been around for over 25 years. During my visit I learned about the careful thought and inspiration that went into planning their current summer and upcoming fall lines. They pay close attention to every detail, from the color of a button on a pair of cargo shorts to the delicate beading in a pair of sandals, UNIONBAY hands down delivers high quality, classic contemporary pieces for the closets of many. I found myself oh’ing and aw’ing at everything they pulled for me to see. In the end I went with the pieces you see below in these photos. Packing up to head out of town, sunglasses, sandals and shorts are obviously musts
UNIONBAY Penny Seashell Print Cami in navy
These UNIONBAY Pyramid Beaded Sandals (on sale for $22.50) are probably my favorite thing ever, the colors are exquisite, they’re extremely light and comfortable for walking around. I think I’m stopped at least twice every time I wear them and am asked where they’re from
My favorite part about this tank top was definitely the back
