How to have a fun girl’s night in
Click here for the Light Pomegranate Berry Punch recipe
One of my favorite things to do is to entertain and spend time with my girlfriends. I try and get together with them at least once a month if not more so we can catch up on life, laugh and have some fun. I hosted a girl’s night in this week with a few of my closest girlfriends, my sister @katiarenee, @jaymeedoll, @nicoleshema and @denimanddots, the evening was themed “learning something new”. We got to enjoy each other’s company catching up over cupcakes, getting manicures and trying out new cocktails made with Smirnoff Sorbet Light flavored vodkas. Together we learned a few fun tips on nail art how to’s as well as how to craft cocktails with Smirnoff’s new vodkas- the recipes we followed can be found here. I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend an evening with my girlfriends. You can see all of the pictures from the evening on my Facebook page.
Helping teach each other how to craft delicious cocktails, it was definitely a fun and easy learning experience!
No girl’s night is complete without some laughs and Instagramming/Tweeting everything that’s happening.
Some of the fun nail art we got to learn about with Julep! We learned that applying a base coat of nail polish is important in having color last longer and that olive oil can double as cuticle oil, how about that?
Cupcakes, need I say more?
Are you ready to host your own girl’s night in? The check list is quite simple,
1. Pick a date that works for you and your girlfriends to get together
2.Order cupcakes
3. Pick up some of Smirnoff Sorbet Light Flavored Vodka and mixers to make cocktails
4. Pick something that you can all learn and try together, be it beauty or fashion focused the possibilites for this are many
5. Most importantly have fun
What is your idea of a fun girl’s night in?

Dear Mollie,
As you probably know, I am a ‘mature’ person, I will not say ‘old’ because I am not old I don’t feel old, even when I am ‘probably’ more than twice your age… I love the way in which you are bringing glamour of the 1950’s into a girls night in 2013…you have device a fantastic way of spending a night in, with your friends, with people you love and like to be with, but also, you have brought up that little bit ‘extra’…I emphasize, you are reviving the glamour of the fifties…Mollie please keep going, we need positive people like you to be our new generation role model!!! Love the recipe!
I tried one of those cocktails this weekend. So yummy! I’m inspired to have my own girls night now.
