Exploring Beverly Hills

I’m sitting at a table in my DKNY pajamas in California, looking at the sunshine outside, a pool and at some palm trees. I’m in California for the weekend spending some time with family and enjoying the warmth of the sunshine on my face!

I also came down to California for Lucky Magazine’s Lucky FABB conference. It’s my third FABB and something I very much look forward to every time it takes place. The inspiration and the caliber of people that are all together in the same room is pretty indescribable. I came down with fellow Seattle blogger, Alyson of Crushing on Clothes. Alyson and I had a great trip filled with fun and learning. I’m working on my FABB recap post that will go up this week so watch out for that. For now I wanted to share a few photos from the trip and my travel outfit.

When I travel I like to wear layers and loose fitting clothing, that way I can be comfortable when I’m sitting on a plane. For my trip down to California I wore this a symmetrical hem dress from Nordstrom, a SUPER OLD jean jacket from Abercrombie, a big bright warm scarf and a pair of Tory Burch flip flops

I never travel without ponytail holders, I really like these from L. Erickson
