Girl Power Hour’s 4 Year Anniversary Party

I knew Wednesday was going to be all about red. It was the night before, I was running around my favorite department store, Nordstorm looking for the perfect dress for Girl Power Hour’s anniversary party. I had a “stop in my tracks” moment of love at first sight with a Nanette Lepore leopard print one shoulder dress. Leopard print is a fun and sassy style I’d never really tried before. I figured what better way to try it out than a party with my friends.
I paired the dress with some bright red lipgloss from MAC, thick black cat eye eyeliner, a bright red Alexis Bittar bangle and a pair of Steve Madden studded heels. For my hair I went with a side ponytail, I wanted to keep it simple and out of my face. There’s something empowering about walking around in animal print. It’s a style that is appropriate for most occasions so long as it’s done right. Easy on the jewelry and make up, smile and you’re good to go. If you’re feeling like adding a little glamour to your look try incorporating animal prints to your wardrobe.
Because my shoes had a platform they were very comfortable to walk around in. As you can see I painted my nails and toes red too! Had to snap a photo with the man @JeffOtis. PS I can’t believe it’s already been a year since Girl Power Hour’s anniversary party last year- where does the time go? Click here and check out my blog post from the previous year.

wow…you look AMAZING mollie. leopard prints are great, one-shoulder dresses are great, so this outfit is awesome. couple that with the lipgloss (perfect for you) and shoes (complement the dress so well) and it’s just a really beautiful look for you. smoking hot 🙂
Adore these pretty pj’s! I “liked” their FB page.
