I always knew Starbucks and Nordstrom were a match made in Heaven– together they get me through my day to day life. My caffeinated fashion dreams have become reality. Starbucks made a very special announcement on their website, in celebration of their 40th year of coffee they have teamed up with designers Alexander Wang, Billy Reid and Sophie Theallet. What exactly is this collaboration you ask? Together they have come up with fashionable t-shirts that will be sold at my favorite fashion retailer, Nordstrom. The t-shirts inspired by coffee are designed for both men and women, and are available online at Nordstrom.com or online at Starbucks. The shirts are $85- you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be ordering one for myself. Coffee and fashion are pretty much my life so you can only imagine my joy when I read the release on Starbucks’ website.

Molly I have a quick question. Being a transplant I only know what I am told but I have been told that locals here in Seattle don’t really drink Starbucks. They tend to stick to the local, non-chain, coffee shops.
Just wondering if you’ve heard that as well, and maybe why you do drink Starbucks even though you are a local? : )
I haven’t heard that! I really think it depends on the person, I know a lot of people who are very loyal to Starbucks here in Seattle and then I know a lot of people who prefer other coffee shops 🙂 I think it’s important to stick with whatever coffee you like, whether it’s Starbucks or something else!
