Fall and winter are my favorite seasons and times of year. It’s when Starbucks lattes taste the best, when Starbucks rolls out their red cups for the holidays, when I can wear boots, carry around an umbrella and wear gloves. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the summer but there’s something even more enchanting to me anyway about the cold, wet, dark, and sometimes snowy months of the year. I think it also has to do with the fact that I love nothing more than curling up by a warm fire with a blanket, good book and hot cocoa, but see here I am diverting from what I’m trying to write about.

For the longest time I’ve wanted a pair of Hunter boots, this weekend I finally bit the bullet and invested my money in, can you guess what color? If you guessed purple you’re wrong, they’re pink of course! After getting them I decided to read a little more into this brand known as Hunter, I learned that they began in Scotland all the way back in 1856, and that they weren’t exactly a fashionable success right off the bat. They were actually produced and worn by many in World War I, 1,185,036 pairs were made to be exact- can you believe that? Hunter boots were worn by members of the British Royal household and by many in Britain before making their way to the states! Now Hunter boots seem to be all the rage, I remember when I was in New York a couple months ago I couldn’t walk a block without seeing someone in them. I’m counting down the days where I can wear my new pink Hunter boots. Oh and side note, Hunter boots aren’t just for women guys, they’re available for men too!
