There are three things that need to be in your closet if you live in Seattle, if they’re not consider adding them pronto.
1. An umbrella
2. Rainboots
3. A raincoat

I'll forgo all the easy jokes about Vitamin D deficiency, introvert social phobias, meticulously cultivated "lazy" beard stubble and/or judgmental veganism, etc. I will forgo them because I love Seattle.
But the sunglasses thing is legit. Highest latitude, here, and thus the lowest solar angle in the USA's lower 48, not counting that retarded little bump of backcountry bearfuckers in Minnesota.
CJ thank you for your comment! Sunglasses I agree are also must haves!
Alyson thank you also for your comment, but I must say on the contrary, I believe that true Seattle fashionistas all own umbrellas! What lady wants to get her hair wet and ruined in the rain?
that's strange because everyone at Seattle University uses umbrellas and a bunch are from Seattle Prep who are from "ACTUAL Seattle" whatever that means.
umbrella+rainboots+raincoat= seattle go-er btw molls i want those boots! you know my mailing address;)
I'm new to Seattle and heard that no 'real Seattleite' uses an umbrella. My Seattle friends practically had me thinking I was going to get pointed at and mocked if I dare used an umbrella. But the bottom line to me, is that Seattle, so far, seems to be a city that promotes individuality much more than other cities I've lived in. I feel like I can walk down the street in anything I want, as weird as it looks, and no one even bats an eye. So, I carry my umbrella if I know I'm going to be walking for more than 10 minutes in pouring rain. Maybe 'real Seattleites' are making fun of me behind my back, but really does that matter? Do what you want – and even better, if your umbrella goes with your outfit, use it!
Hey Kim! Thank you for checking out my blog and for your thoughtful comment. To each his own right? It's fun to express our own individuality be it through a handbag, pair of shoes, or an umbrella! Who knew this post would cause such a spark in conversation! ๐ Thanks again for stopping by!
